by the workers)
Dear Beryl and
Alistair
We have tried to
contact you a number of times now by phone and haven’t succeeded, which of
course can possibly mean that it is best so. It isn’t easy to know about all of
these things. The thing that I believe neither of us can deny is that, at the
moment, things between us aren’t really what either of us wish
they were. In one sense the reasons behind it all are less important than the
fact that before our fellowship with each other can be what the Lord would hope
it could be, the feelings that separate us at this
point need to be dealt with – whatever this may entail.
My suggestion is that
we could get together with each other to somehow try to get a better
understanding for each others feeling on these things with the hope that
‘understanding’ will bring about the mutual respect and appreciation that
perhaps is one of the basic conditions for the love that true fellowship
demands.
Timing is important
and it is possible that now isn’t the suitable time – I am sure you folks have
suggestions as to this. Perhaps you have other suggestions as well as I don’t
feel I really know what to suggest. All I know is that my prayer is that we
could have the fellowship with you folks that we have felt we have had in times
past, and that this fellowship could be a strength to
our families in our endeavours to be true to God.
Hoping for a reply,
Edgar
Greetings
from the family and also from my mom and dad.

this letter from the Lows
